Installation (manual & via WP dashboard)
1. Install via WordPress Dashboard
- Log in to your WordPress admin area.
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Choose the plugin ZIP file from your computer.
- Click Install Now.
- Once installed, click Activate Plugin.
2. Manual Installation via FTP
- Extract the plugin ZIP file on your computer.
- Using an FTP client (such as FileZilla), connect to your website server.
- Upload the extracted plugin folder into the
/wp-content/plugins/
directory. - Log in to your WordPress admin area.
- Go to Plugins and find the plugin in the list.
- Click Activate to enable it.
Shortcode Usage
- Use the shortcode [crevc-calculator] anywhere in your site display the calculator
- See Settings > Valuation Calculator for additional shortcode options.
Configuration
This plugin works immediately after activation and does not require any configuration to function.
However, you can customize the default calculator values, appearance, and optional “Full Analysis” button from the plugin settings page. All Settings are found here: WP-Admin > Settings > Valuation Calculator
- Default Price – 800,000
- Default NOI (Net Operating Income) – 85,000
- Default Down Payment (%) – 20
- Default Interest Rate (%) – 4.75
- Default Loan Term (Years) – 15
- Background Color – Select custom background color
- Text Color – Select custom text color
Advanced Settings
These options are available for the PRO version of the plugin:
- License Key – this is provide via email after purchase.
- Display “Full Analysis” Button? – Yes/No toggle
- “Full Analysis” Button Destination URL (If available)
- “Full Analysis” Button Text – Example: Launch Valuation Analysis
- “Full Analysis” Button Background Color – Select custom color
- “Full Analysis” Button Text Color – Select custom color

1) How do I add the calculator to a page?
Use the shortcode [crevc-calculator]
in any page, post, or widget. No additional setup is required after activation.
2) Do I need to configure anything before it works?
No. The plugin works out of the box with sensible defaults. You can optionally change defaults (Price, NOI, Down Payment, Rate, Term) and colors in the plugin settings.
3) Can I change the look and default numbers?
Yes. From the settings page, update Background/Text colors and set default values for Price (e.g., 800,000), NOI (85,000), Down Payment % (20), Rate % (4.75), and Term (15 years). Changes apply instantly wherever the shortcode is used.
4) What does the “Full Analysis” button do?
If enabled, the button appears below the results and links to your chosen destination URL (e.g., https://www.reallaunch.com/value/
). You can customize the button text and colors in settings.
5) What’s included in the advanced settings?
Advanced settings are unlocked with your License Key which is provided via email. Enter your key in Advanced Settings include updates to ‘Full Analysis’ button to redirect users to the full CRECalculator.com
6) Is it compatible with my theme, cache plugins, and the latest WordPress?
Yes. The calculator is lightweight, responsive, and follows WordPress best practices. It’s compatible with modern themes/page builders. Most caching works fine; if you see stale values, exclude the page from aggressive caching. Tested with current WordPress and PHP 7.4–8.x.
